Initial Payment Requirement

For all software and 3D print/design projects with a total quote exceeding $10 USD, a 25% initial payment is required before project commencement. This initialization fee secures your project's place in our workflow and covers initial resource allocation. For example, on a $100 USD software solution quote, an initial payment of $25 USD is necessary. The remaining 75% balance will be due upon successful project completion and prior to final delivery.

Free Consultations: Initial consultations remain completely free of charge.

Non-Refundable Initialization Fee: Please be aware that the initial 25% payment is non-refundable. This fee is applied as a credit towards the total project cost and compensates for the resources and time dedicated to project setup and initiation. This policy minimizes uncommitted orders and ensures efficient resource management, enabling us to deliver your solutions promptly and reliably.

Payment Terms

Full Payment Requirement: The complete outstanding balance is payable immediately upon project completion and before the final product or service delivery.

Payment Methods: We currently accept payments via cash, major credit cards, CashApp, Google Pay, and Apple Pay for your convenience.

Turnaround Times

Project Estimates: Estimated turnaround times will be provided during your initial consultation. These are good-faith estimates and are subject to adjustment based on the specific complexity of the project, current workload, and unforeseen circumstances. We strive to provide the most accurate estimates possible at the outset.

Potential Delays: While we are dedicated to meeting all agreed-upon deadlines, unforeseen circumstances can occasionally lead to delays. Should any delay occur, we pledge to communicate proactively and promptly with you to keep you informed of the revised timeline.

Revisions and Modifications

Included Initial Revisions: Your initial project quote includes a reasonable number of revisions to ensure satisfaction with the final deliverable. The specifics of included revisions will be clarified during the quoting process.

Charges for Additional Revisions: While we aim for your complete satisfaction, excessively complex revisions or a high volume of change requests beyond the initially agreed scope may incur additional charges. We will always discuss potential extra costs with you before proceeding with such revisions.

Scope Changes: Any modifications to the original project scope requested after work has already commenced will necessitate a revised quote, which will include additional fees and may extend the project's delivery timeline. We will clearly outline these adjustments before proceeding with scope changes.

Confidentiality

Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA): We deeply respect your privacy and project confidentiality. A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) can be provided and signed upon request to guarantee that all project details and sensitive information remain strictly secure.

Data Protection: All client data and project-related information are stored securely and treated with the utmost confidentiality. Client data is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your project requirements and enhancing our service to you.

Customer Support

Communication Channels: We are readily accessible through multiple communication channels, including email, phone, and the contact form available on our website. Our standard response time is within 24 hours during regular business days. We are committed to providing timely and helpful support.

Intellectual Property Rights

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, D-Net Lab retains the intellectual property rights to all custom designs, software, and solutions created by our team. This is standard practice in custom design and development services and allows us to refine and utilize our expertise across various projects.

Client Rights and Ownership

D-Net Lab Ownership of Custom Creations: D-Net Lab retains ownership of all custom designs and solutions we create, unless a prior, explicit agreement transferring these rights to the client is established in writing. Clients have the option to inquire about purchasing exclusive intellectual property rights to specific products. Such requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. Any transfer of rights will be formalized in a separate agreement.

Client Ownership of Provided Resources: When clients furnish their own resources, such as 3D design files for printing or specific code segments for software projects, they retain ownership of these pre-existing materials. However, this ownership is subject to the limitations of the original creators' license agreements if applicable. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to use and provide these resources to us.

Disclaimer Regarding Misuse of Products: D-Net Lab explicitly disclaims any responsibility or liability for any misuse of our products or services by the client. This includes, but is not limited to, any license violations, infringements of laws or regulations, or other unauthorized or inappropriate uses. It is the client's sole responsibility to ensure lawful and ethical utilization of all deliverables from D-Net Lab.

Commercial Use & Resale

D-Net Lab's Right to Resell Designs (Non-Exclusive Agreements): In cases where exclusive rights are not purchased by the client, D-Net Lab reserves the right to market and sell finished product copies of our original designs on other platforms or to other clients. This allows us to leverage our design portfolio and offer cost-effective solutions to a broader audience. Clients seeking exclusive rights to a design must request and agree to this explicitly, which may affect project pricing.

API and AI/Generative Services Usage Policy

Access and Intended Use: D-Net Lab provides access to certain Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and AI/Generative services (collectively, "AI Services") as part of our commitment to accessible technology. These services are intended for a wide range of innovative and beneficial uses, including personal projects, research, education, and the development of creative applications. We encourage exploration and responsible innovation using these tools.

Acceptable Use Guidelines: While we champion open access, responsible and ethical use is paramount. Users of D-Net Lab's AI Services are expressly prohibited from the following:

• Illegal Activities: Engaging in any activity that violates local, national, or international laws and regulations.

• Harmful Content Generation: Creating or distributing content that is defamatory, libelous, harassing, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or that promotes violence or hatred.

• Impersonation and Deception: Using the AI Services to impersonate any person or entity, or to create content intended to deceive, defraud, or manipulate others.

• Violation of Privacy: Using the AI Services to collect, generate, or distribute private or personal information without proper consent or in violation of privacy laws.

• Service Disruption: Attempting to disrupt, overload, or otherwise impair the functionality or availability of D-Net Lab's AI Services or related infrastructure.

• Commercial Resale without Authorization: Reselling or commercially distributing access to D-Net Lab's AI Services without explicit written permission.

Account Suspension and Termination: D-Net Lab reserves the unequivocal right to suspend or permanently terminate access to AI Services, and/or close user accounts, for any violation of these Acceptable Use Guidelines. Decisions regarding violations and account actions are at the sole discretion of D-Net Lab.

Disclaimer of Liability for Misuse: D-Net Lab explicitly disclaims any and all liability for any misuse of our AI Services by users. Users are solely responsible for their conduct and creations when utilizing these services. D-Net Lab is not responsible for the output generated by AI Services or the actions taken by users based on this output. By using D-Net Lab's AI Services, you acknowledge and agree to this disclaimer and accept full responsibility for your use.
